Renowned British artist, Emily Powell approached me to help her create a series of patterns for the Brighton based fashion company, Lucy & Yak. Emily's work is a delight for the eyes with no shortage of colour or imagination. I began by cherry picking some of my favourite elements from her paintings, blending them to create this joyous feast of colour and shape; perfect for the bold prints featured as part of the brand.
